The Economy Hard Acrylic Court is a thin, water‑based coating system applied over a properly prepared asphalt or concrete base. The coating itself is 0.5–1.5 mm thick and does not provide structural strength. The cost saving comes from using recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) as the base layer instead of virgin asphalt. RAP, when properly processed and mixed with a small percentage of new binder, provides a stable, load‑bearing foundation at 15–20% lower cost. Over this base, we apply 4–5 coats of standard grade acrylic primer, mid coats, and color top coat with texture sand. The final surface offers slip resistance (≥0.5 wet) and moderate UV stability (3–5 years color retention).
